Meal Planning Tips During COVID-19 + Showing My Meal Plan | Registered Dietitian

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed a lot of things and a big one is our food. With all of us doing limited grocery trips, eating out less, and cooking more, mealtime and meal planning look different too. I'm a big proponent of meal planning to make cooking easier, but how do you meal plan when you're shopping for 2 weeks of groceries at a time and don't have any social events on your calendar to work around. Every day can start to feel the same and you might even think a meal plan isn't helpful right now. In reality, a meal plan is extremely helpful in this moment, it just looks a little different. I'm sharing how I'm meal planning right now, some tips for how to think about your meals in the current situation, and showing you my meal planning notebook so you can see exactly how I've changed my meal planning strategy and how my new meal planning system works.
