You want to eat healthier, but you just don’t know how to get there.

With tons of nutrition information floating around out there, from credible and not-so-credible sources, it can be tough to figure out what is right for YOU. That's where I come in! Individual coaching provides you with the information you want, plus the support you need, to make changes and reach your goals. In each session we will discuss where you are and where you want to go. Then, we will work together to figure out how to get you there.

 
 

What you WILL get:

  • Personalized recommendations
  • Information and resources, including recipe ideas
  • "Homework" between sessions. This could simply be working towards your goals or specific activities to help you discover and tackle the things getting in the way of your healthy lifestyle.
  • Between session contact with me via secure messaging. I'm happy to answer your questions, though I may suggest that longer questions be addressed in your next session.

What you WON'T get:

  • A diet plan. While we will discuss meal, snack, and recipe ideas, I don't do diets. Our sessions are focused on giving you the information, tools, and skills to help you create lasting change and a lifestyle that supports your health. Restrictive or prescriptive diets are not part of that.
  • A mountain of pills to take. While supplements can have a place, I'm all about the food.

You've tried diet after diet and none of them have worked long term. You're ready to try something different.

No matter what it is, you've tried it and maybe you've even done some diets multiple times.

It's the same story every time. You've gone through a period of being "off the wagon" and you're ready for a change. You pick your diet and you vow that, this time, it's going to be different. This time, not only will you stick to the diet, but it's going to last and you're never going to find yourself back here again.

In the beginning, things are great! You clean out the fridge and cabinets, fill them with the diet's prescribed foods, and stick to your diet religiously. You see the number on the scale going down and you're loving the high that dieting gives you.

But, it doesn't last.

The scale starts to stall even though you're still following the diet. You decide that you need to just diet harder and start cutting out more foods from your life.

Or, you begin to find it more and more difficult to follow the diet as strictly as you did in the beginning. All of those forbidden foods are calling your name and eventually you give into the pressure and end up elbow deep in that bag of chips or gallon of ice cream.

You feel like a failure and, instead of putting the blame on the diet, you put the blame on yourself.

It doesn't have to be this way. You don't have to be at war with food or your body.

When you work with me, I'll help you learn how to ditch the diets and eat in a way that works with your body instead of fighting against it. We'll work together to get you back in touch your body's natural cues that have been buried under years of dieting and we'll do it with your health as our main focus.


How it works

Our sessions can take place virtually via video call or phone.

We’ll start with a 60 minute initial session where we’ll get to know each other and you’ll get me up to speed with your history, what you’re doing now, and where you want to go. Based on your starting point, I’ll suggest changes you can make to get the ball rolling. From there, we’ll meet for 45 minute follow-up sessions where we’ll discuss your successes and struggles and work through them together.

You want the skills and knowledge to make the best decisions for you and your health, not strict rules.

You want to learn how to find the ingredients for and prepare delicious, nourishing meals.

You want to work collaboratively with an expert and have an active role in the change process. You don’t want someone just telling you what to do.

We’re not a good fit if

You are looking for a quick fix solution or temporary diet.

You are unwilling to make changes or try new things.

You refuse to cook.

You want someone to tell you what to do. You don’t want to have any input into the changes you make.

Initial Consultation (60 minutes) - $160

During this session, we'll review your health and diet history and get to know each other better. I'll do a full assessment and we'll discuss your current situation and where you want to go. We'll work together to get started with a plan and get you on the path towards your goals.

All new clients must start with an initial consultation.


Follow-Up Sessions (45 minutes)

During these sessions we'll discuss your successes and challenges and make adjustments to your goals as you continue on your path. You will also have access to me between sessions for questions via secure messaging. Note that I may recommend that longer questions be addressed at your next session.
