September Garden Update and Harvest! LOTS of Peppers! | Rare and Heirloom Varieties

It's time for another garden update! September is coming to an end and there are some exciting and disappointing things happening in the garden. The peppers are looking great and we're getting rips fruits from all of the varieties now! Plus, some of the peppers are so productive that I'm not sure what I'm going to do with all of them! On a sad note, the tomatoes are pretty much done for, but I feel a little comfort knowing that this has just been a bad year for tomatoes in my area and everyone is pretty much in the same boat.

For a point of reference, I'm in Virginia in Zone 7. All of the plants in the garden we either seeded directly or started from seed inside, excluding a few basil plants. I like to grow a lot heirloom varieties, which means lots of interesting shapes and colors!
