Tasting HEIRLOOM TOMATOES and MORE! | Heritage Harvest Festival at Monticello

This past weekend, Jasen and I went to the Heritage Harvest Festival at Thomas Jefferson's Monticello in Charlottesville, Virginia!

We had a ton of fun tasting different fruits and vegetables, trying foods from the vendors, listening to the various speakers, and exploring the gardens at Monticello. I hope you enjoying this peek at the Heritage Harvest Festival!

About the Heritage Harvest Festival from their website:

"Thomas Jefferson championed vegetable cuisine, plant experimentation, and sustainable agriculture. The 12th Annual Heritage Harvest Festival, hosted by the Thomas Jefferson Foundation in partnership with Southern Exposure Seed Exchange, and Seed Savers Exchange celebrates Jefferson’s legacy, and the contributions to American cuisine by enslaved workers, in a family-friendly, exciting, affordable and fun-filled atmosphere, promoting gardening, sustainability, local food, and the preservation of heritage plants."
