Something I've been thinking about lately is adults who are proud of never eating certain foods. In some cases, these are adults who have never even tried a certain food or food group in their entire life. You might call this extreme picky eating or adult picky eating, but it seems a little bit different to me. That's because some of these restrictions don't necessarily have to do with food preferences. Sometimes, it's something that has become a part of that's person identity and so they just keep doing it with no real reason other than it has become a part of who they are.
